What is an Opinion Tracker?


	Opinion Trackers gives you the ability to identify patterns and trends in information you record over a period of time. You can track anything you want, it’s up to you. You can keep your Opinion Tracker private (for your eyes only) , make it public or invite only the people you choose, whatever suits your needs.

What is it for?


	It helps you analyze and see patterns in data so you can make informed decisions. For example, you might notice that your child gets stomach aches every 3 days and when you look at the food he / she ate on those days versus other days, you see that stomach aches only happen on days your child drinks milk. Measurebox gives you tools to track what you want, how you want it and to keep notes along the way.

	You can compare multiple trends in the same time period or track how just one thing was rated.

Privacy


	MeasureBox uses only the freely available public information about respondents that all websites have access to. MeasureBox values our user's privacy and does not sell information collected to anyone.

What happens to the info collected?


	The data collected is yours. Download it to a spreadsheet any time you like.

How much does it cost?


	Everything on MeasureBox is totally free. We are not one of those "freemium" sites that give you 70% of what you need and hold some functionality back in order to get you to sign up for the "Gold Plan" or the "Platinum Plan" or anything like that. It's all totally free and ready to go. We just want to be useful.

Scalability


	MeasureBox is hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform (aka "the cloud"). This is the same system hosting Hotmail and many other Microsoft websites and gives MeasureBox the power to scale from zero to hundreds of thousands of users instantly!

What can I do with it?


	Track your wife's mood, your medical symptoms, your job satisfaction, how much you like somebody. You can find out what other people think about whatever you are interested and compare how those opinions have changed over time.

Similar stuff


	Like buttons and 5 star raters are perfect for a lot of stuff. But sometimes you don't like something at all and maybe you don't think it should get any stars. Sometimes you might really love something and want to say why you love it too. MeasureBox does that.

Purpose


	All MeasureBox raters can be filtered by City, Region, Area code and DMA. Non-anonymous raters are filterable by email as well. Other options are to view respondents rating graphs, comment reports or just download the data any time! Unlimited number of respondents allowed.

How do I turn it off?


	You can set your items to "Inactive" on the "Create / Manage" page any time.

How do I collect responses from other people?


	Email, blog, website, Facebook. MeasureBox is wired into Facebook, so you can post updates to your wall and your friends walls. You can also send Facebook invitations to your friends. Email invitations can be sent to any address you enter or import your contact lists from Hotmail, Google, Yahoo, AOL and Plaxo and send email invitations that way. Everything on MeasureBox can be Public, Private or By Invitation Only.
